This project was characterized by its high patrimonial and historical value; therefore, all necessary resources had to be implemented to preserve worksites. Its execution consisted in the construction of a reinforced concrete tank for firefighting water, with capacity for 427,000 liters on 1st and 2nd underground levels. Construction of a new pump room on the 2nd underground level, in lieu of the one existing on the 1st above-ground level. Provision, assembly and commissioning of a new system for pumping firefighting water. Works for detachment and laying of new pipework, upto its connection with the new service to be rendered. Conditioning and civil works in the old pumping room. Assembling and installing a new connection collector in the old pumping room. All works were performed with the firefighting service permanently active.
