DESCRIPTION

Enlargement of Exhibition Center – Pavilion 5 Covered area: 4,400 m² Plot of land: 5,000 m², reclaimed from the river. Completion time: 5 months. Construction of Exhibition Pavilion number 5. Works also included the facilities for housing the administrative offices of the exhibition center and restrooms for public and staff. Technical Specifications: • Foundations: Reinforced concrete running footings. • Structure: This pavilion is metallic and it is composed of bi-articulated bents, with a 40-meter span every 5 m, and 8.6 m maximum height. Edge beams, purlins and braces. • In offices, coffee shops and restrooms, reinforced concrete structure with precast bases. • Roofing: Galvanized trapezoidal sheets fastened to purlins and perimeter zincwork. • Thermal insulation: 2" glass wool under sheet supported by anti-hail plastic mesh . • Perimeter enclosure: • One-piece precast reinforced concrete panels. Each panel is 2.5 m wide and 8.6 high. • Floor: Made of concrete, 10 cm thick, with metallic mesh, trowel finished with quartz surface hardener. • Services: This pavilion has: telephone, water and sewage networks, 1250-KVA FM system, and 300 tn air conditioning system, with a screw TRADE equipment, with its accessories and 21 air handlers with external service regulation. • Service buildings: Complementary to the pavilion, there are two two-level building cores, housing the coffee shop, the new auditorium, restrooms and administrative offices. • The Electrical system was designed based on the different activities that are carried out in the pavilion, and the required power is available everywhere in the pavilion. • Infrastructure - Accesses: External linking pavings and internal floors were laid in concrete. A junction node was also constructed to connect this pavilion with pavilions 1, 2, 3, and 4.
