These buildings will first host delegations from all over the world, participating in these Youth Olympic Games 2018 and will then be used as dwellings which may be purchased through lines of credit. These are 7500 units, a 30% of which are destined to units A –2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, 40 m²– and the remaining 70%, to units B –3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 65 m²–. In the aggregate, these will be 1400 functional units, i.e., 79,475 m² of dwelling areas. All five National Calls for Proposals, Olympic Village dwellings, have been completed, and the second one has been awarded to EMACO. This project has succeeded in combining simplicity with all the variables demanded by the terms of reference, thereby giving rise to an engaging fabric interweaving the street and the block interior through walkways, and generating a possible block of high-rise dwellings.
